Rhiannon began writing as a journalist during the summer of 2010, while studying for a degree in English Literature at Goldsmiths, University of London. She has covered events from local and unsigned gigs to concerts by signed and prestigious artists, alternative parties and press conferences.

She is the guitarist with a gigging jazz-blues band since 2007.
